This July, the VNTR Ops team is gearing up for another unforgettable adventure as we return to the familiar and much-loved landscapes of Augathella. Nestled in the heart of Western Queensland, this 80,000-acre cattle station isn't just a destination; it's a return to a place that feels like home, surrounded by mates and the outback.
Why Augathella?
It's our favorite station for many reasons. The sprawling fields of sourgum and the vast network of rivers and creeks make it not only a paradise for wildlife but also for those of us seeking the thrill of the hunt. The land is abundant with feral pigs and feral dogs, offering challenging and exciting hunting that never disappoints.
More Than Just a Hunting Trip
What makes Augathella truly special are the people. The station owner and his family are not only good friends but also embody the spirit of Australian hospitality. Their warmth makes every visit here more than just a trip—it's a reunion. Each visit, we lend a hand, whether it's fencing or any other jobs around the property. It’s our way of giving back, not just to a place that gives us so much joy but to people who make it feel like home.
The Beauty of Augathella
Calling Augathella beautiful is an understatement. It is, without doubt, one of the most breathtakingly beautiful stations we've ever set foot on. The rugged landscape, dotted with big sourgum fields and framed by expansive waterways, creates a backdrop that gets us all excited.
Looking Ahead
As we prepare for this trip, our excitement is twofold: the anticipation of the hunt and the joy of returning to a place filled with fond memories. We can't wait to share this journey with you, complete with the thrills, the landscapes, and the laughter that come with every VNTR Ops adventure.
Stay tuned as we bring you along on what promises to be another spectacular West Is Best chapter in the VNTR Ops story. From the heart-pounding chases to the quiet moments spent among friends, this trip is shaping up to be one for the books.
